Who can attend a Freestyle Night?
You'll find dancers of all levels at Red Hot Rhythm freestyles - recent beginners and intermediates - so whatever your level, you're sure to be in good company! Freestyle 'virgins' need not feel intimidated - it's always a friendly atmosphere, and it's no scarier than being at a normal midweek class! There's no jive class so you'll probably want to have learned at least a small handful of moves before you come along, and that'll be enough to get you going! Turn up on your own, with a partner, or with some friends.
What is a Freestyle Night?
Four hours of non-stop music that you just can't help dancing to! It's also a great social event where you can meet and dance with friends. Furthermore, it's a good way to really improve your dancing by getting on the floor and dancing with as many people as you can! Most of our freestyles, particularly Westlands, attract jivers (Mo'jive, Leroc etc) from all corners of Devon, Avon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and surrounding counties.

From forties swing right up to today's big dance anthems. Not forgetting Motown, Soul, Rock & Roll, hot Latino, cool Swing, storming Rhythm & mellow Blues. You're sure to find plenty of great tunes to keep you on your feet. The regular Red Hot Rhythm DJs are:
