A building of real character, dating from the mid-nineteenth century, and grade 2 listed. It also happens to have all the facilities you need for a great night out dancing! A large sprung wooden dance floor, excellent acoustics & lighting, lots of sociable seating, a licensed bar, and nearby on-road parking and car parks. Dorchester's premier dance venue.
Classes
We have been operating Mo'jive classes at this venue practically every Tuesday night since 1998! A very popular class with a friendly atmosphere, and complete beginners are always welcome. Admission is £6 for the whole evening, including all classes, coaching and freestyle dancing. See below for any forthcoming venue changes. Freestyles
With its large floor it's a great venue for freestyles. Well-attended with a friendly and lively party atmosphere, and recent beginners are welcome to join in the fun! Currently being run once every two months, check the forthcoming Red Hot Rhythm freestyle dates.
